For five years, every Monday, the comedian Matthew Broussard has published a cartoon pun puzzle on his site, MondayPunday.com. It could just as well be called, “Think You’re Clever?” These are not painfully obvious joke drawings. Broussard’s visual puns are witty, subtle, and frequently adorable. Many of them are also quite difficult, which makes MondayPunday the kind of site that invites obsessive revisits from OCD-afflicted patrons who can’t rest until all 250 (and counting) have been solved. We still have many dozens to conquer. (Help!) But here’s the cool part: Although he won’t divulge the answer — on “you can do this” grounds — stumped players can email Broussard for helpful hints, or to curse him to eternal damnation for monopolizing their life.
